Lupe Impala, El Chavo Flapjack, and Elirio Malaria love working with cars. You name it, they can fix it. But the team's favorite cars of all are lowriders—cars that hip and hop, dip and drop, go low and slow, bajito y suavecito. The stars align when a contest for the best car around offers a prize of a trunkful of cash—just what the team needs to open their own shop! ¡Ay chihuahua! What will it take to transform a junker into the best car in the universe? Striking, unparalleled art from debut illustrator Raul the Third recalls ballpoint-pen-and-Sharpie desk-drawn doodles, while the story is sketched with Spanish, inked with science facts, and colored with true friendship. With a glossary at the back to provide definitions for Spanish and science terms, this delightful book will educate and entertain in equal measure.

This was a cool book because it has some funny parts and some action parts also. I recommend this book to people who want to laugh.

You name the car they fix it. The group is eager to get the trunkload of cash for making the best car the world has ever seen.

Three friends, Lupe Impala, El Chavo Flapjack, and Elirio Malaria, want their own garage. This way they can repair their own cars (lowriders are their favorite). Sadly, they do not have the money. Instead, they enter in a contest to create the "best car around" and are determined they will win. This book had amazing illustrations (not to mention it was a graphic novel), and had some Spanish words in it, which was neat.

This book was weird to me at the beginning but towards the end I understood what was happening. This book was about three friends who want to own a garage where they can build and repair cars. They enter in a contest. If you win you get a car load of money. They won and got a garage.

This book is ok. After I had started reading it , it made a lot more sense than just looking at the cover. Again it was a good book and I would recommened it. Thanks DOGO!

This book was OK. It wasn't the best. It about these three kids who want to open a shop for fixing cars and they need money for that. Then they enter this contest to win money. Will they win and get the prize? Red to find out.

It was very weird!! When I first saw this book I thought spaghetti!! Now I think space, but not at first!! Anyway this book looks great for the whole world to love!! Thanks DOGO

I didn't really like this book because I don't really like cars, but if you are a fan of cars you really should read this book. I rated this 2 stars since 1)I don't like cars 2)It wasn't that bad.
