I won this book in a freebie. It's pretty good. Usually when learning about scientists we hear about their major breakthroughs, but Kid Scientists takes a different angle, giving interesting facts about the future researchers. Did you know that Isaac Newton was once in the bottom 5% of his school? It shows how the kids were inspired. The writing was not the most advanced; I'd recommend to kids 8-11.

I won this book and just got it on Thursday and I can't put it down! This is one of my new favorite books! First, I thought, I would just read over the names and pick a few to read each day. But all the scientists in the book are scientist that I have studied and read about. I won't put any spoilers out there for those of you who really, really, really want to read this book, but I will say "Thank you!" Marie Curie, Katherine Johnson, Sally Ride were really quirky kids like me!
