Adventure awaits in the Five Kingdoms—come and claim it in this start to a new series from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Fablehaven and Beyonders series.

Cole Randolph was just trying to have a fun time with his friends on Halloween (and maybe get to know Jenna Hunt a little better). But when a spooky haunted house turns out to be a portal to something much creepier, Cole finds himself on an adventure on a whole different level.

After Cole sees his friends whisked away to some mysterious place underneath the haunted house, he dives in after them—and ends up in The Outskirts.

The Outskirts are made up of five kingdoms that lie between wakefulness and dreaming, reality and imagination, life and death. It’s an in-between place. Some people are born there. Some find their way there from our world, or from other worlds.

And once you come to the Outskirts, it’s very hard to leave.

With the magic of the Outskirts starting to unravel, it’s up to Cole and an unusual girl named Mira to rescue his friends, set things right in the Outskirts, and hopefully find his way back home…before his existence is forgotten.

this is a great book. a boy named Cole follows his kidnapped friends into another world. he is caught and sold to the Sky Raiders as a slave. him and his new friends must find a way to escape.

A great book, and I thought it was a very interesting and intriguing book. It has a lot of imagination involved, and it will make youn feel like you are in the book. It was awesome.

This is an amazing book that shows how an ordinary thing can turn into a great adventure. I recommend this book to anyone that loves a great adventure.

This book is so interesting. I was hooked, but only after chapter two. I have to admit it started slowly, but once it started, it was incredible. The concept of another world where crazy things happen is so cool. The main character, Cole, is so realistic and easy to relate to. Younger kids might find it a little too intense, but I highly recommend this book to older readers.

expected haunted got real but i have a question does mira live? i hate books that end and not everything answered and you have to wait for the next one

Sky raiders...what an amazing book! It gives you a whole new view on alternate world books, and I loved the book. It was filled with action, oppression, adventure, wonder, and so many other things. It is about a boy named Cole. When he is at a haunted basement with his friends, people come in and kidnapped them. Cole escaped, but his friend dont. He accidentally stumbles into a portal were people are fell into and he decides to spy on the people who put his friends in cages and took them away. He is caught and sold into slavery...to an interesting group of people. Thats all I am going to say! I hope you read the book. 5/5 rating from me!

I really loved reading Sky Raiders of the Five Kingdoms series. The book was very entertaining and was action-packed. There was never a dull moment, and ever word had a purpose. In this book Cole Randolph is enjoying a haunted house when his friends are kidnapped and sent into a different dimension. The end up in The Outskirts. The Outskirts are made of five kingdoms, where lives are on the stakes. When he is separated from his friends he and an unusual girl named Mira set out to rescue his friends, fix the evil of the magic and find their way home. I recommend this book to older kids, it may be more advanced and violent for younger children.

A very good book. It tells a story of Cole, a teenage boy who is kidnapped with other children to another world known as the Outskirts.

A good book. I cant wait for the next one. It is a good story where a boy is transported to a world with slavery and magic.
