Alex Sawyer and his mates should have known there was no way out of Furnace Penitentiary. Their escape attempt only lands them deeper in the guts of this prison for young offenders, and then into solitary confinement. And that's where a whole new struggle begins―a struggle not to let the hellish conditions overwhelm them. Because before another escape attempt is even possible, they must first survive the nightmare that now haunts their endless nights.

This book is a story filled with many horror filled moments, and a suspenseful journey that will keep you on your feet til the last second.

It was a perfect sequel and it will keep you wanting to read more. I couldn't stop reading it and it was very addicting. Each chapter left me hanging.

Almost all the Furnace books are the same, Alex tries to escape from Furnace. All the books are really the best books ever, they are always putting you at the edge of your seat and this book is what picks you up after the first book's cliff hanger.
