This book is so funny and VERY relatable! I think it would probably be more for boys than girls though, but, that's just my opinion.

One more in the series. Seriously, this guy has a lot of ammunition. Drawing sketches page after page, book after book, pulling off anecdotes at will - he's got to have a Hero Point. Our Greg is growing up and with that comes the decision making. Well we can argue that he did not wish to grow up on his defense but that thing which stops ageing is yet to be invented. And summer school is not a solution either. Rolled and rolled in gags when he draws out the books hid by his mom. Belter it was the way he draws up the solution to making so much decisions - the 8 ball Learning the adult world and its double standard way of handling things, Greg discovers that humans never grow up, they just learn how to conceal the paint on the wall. The fact that I enjoyed reading this book is the single biggest plot twist of the month, because I was somewhat... bored? of the previous 7 books! reg Heffley's best friend Rowley has a girlfriend now so they don't spend any time together anymore. Greg doesn't have any other friends at school and he's trying to find other friends. He is also looking forward to the upcoming Easter break but when he finds out that his mother's relatives are going to be joining them, he isn't thrilled. Greg's grades are also not up to the mark anymore and the principal warns him that if he doesn't get better grades in the coming weeks, he'll have to go to summer school. Greg gets his act together with studies, he also tries to make new friends and join clubs at school which doesn't go his way until Rowley gets dumped by his girlfriend and they become friends again. Greg's father and brothers didn't have much to do in this but his mum was there and she tries to help him find friends. A hilarious read with great art and some very relatable events in the books - the relatives bit and when friends ditch you for their girlfriends/boyfriends but come back when they are dumped, yep very relatable. 5 stars

If you are a 6-8 year old, i would recommend! Ask if you can get the whole diary of a wimpy kid set for youre birthday. Diary of a Wimpy Kid was way better than dork diaries!
