This special 8 1/2th Anniversary Edition of the book that started the Captain Underpants craze features a lenticular paper-over-board cover and a top-secret bound-in component for just $9.95.

When Dav Pilkey began drawing pictures of an underwear-clad, wedgie-giving superhero as a second grader, his teacher said, "You'd better start taking life more seriously, because you can't spend the rest of your days making silly books!" Luckily for us, Dav didn't listen, and Captain Underpants was born. Now, kids everywhere can enjoy this special edition of the book that started it all--with an awesome lenticular cover and a super-cool value-added component that's so amazing, so fun, and so top-secret that you'll just have to buy it to find out!

I loved the illustrations and the ideas, but I think its just childish for me. I would recommend it for 11 years or 10 years old under since its kind of cringe and lots of childish sources. The whole series very funny and hilarious especially the netflix one. But I guarantee you the flip-o-lama part "bEcAuSe oF sUcH a VioLeNcE" in netflix show is kind of boring.

I love the Captain Underpants series. Did you know that on Netflix there's a Captain Underpants series and a Epic Choice-o-rama, which mean you pick what will happen!!!

I loved this book it was very fun to read and have a bunch of laughs! My favorite part about the book was the flip-o-rama! Both George and Harold were amazing in the book. It's full of adventure and funny misspelled words!Dav Pilkey is a amazing author and should be very appreciated for this amazing book!I can see why many children love this book! This book is totally for you if your goofy and silly and funny! The comic parts of the book are very well done! I totally recommend this to kids 7+.

This book is amazing it's about a man who is the principal of the school and the kids make him become a superhero and call him " captain underpants" because he took his pants off and shirt. Then he starts to help others but he is actually making quite an of trouble then he has to face his enemies and they fight and it looks like he is about to die but he wins the battle.
