Hot off the best-seller list, Big Nate is in a class by himself. This spunky 11-year-old holds the school record in detentions, but that doesn’t stop him from dreaming big!

Big Nate is taking it from the top—the top of the troublemaker's list!

Nate Wright is eleven years old, four-and-a-half feet tall, and the all-time record holder for school detentions in school history. He's a self-described genius and sixth-grade Renaissance man. Middle-grade kids everywhere can relate to Big Nate's daily battle against overzealous teachers, backbreaking homework, wimpy cafeteria food, and all-around conventionality. This collection features cartoonist Lincoln Peirce's daily and Sunday comic strips packed with his vintage flair and insights into school humor.

I have all of the big nate books

Big Nate is this ridiculous and funny character who does really weird stuff. I like comics so naturally I like this book even though I'm not done with it.

Friends, girls, teachers and more. Nate has to endure all the middle school shenanigans and try to stay on top. Typical and unique yet always hilarious, Nate tries to make it to the top.

Nate is typical middle school kid, faces bullies, has a never-to-happen crush, hate the teachers, highly full of himself. Entertainingly stereotypical. Cmon authors. Think outside the box!

this book is so good! because I love the big Nate series it is so so so so good because he goes on all kinds of adventures

i like the comic stripes so my mom said try a book this book was really confusing it kept jumping from one thing to another and another and another all the way through it i was really lost until the end when i thought about it awhile

this book is really fun, once you read one of the books in the series you just have to go back to the library for the other books.

I think this book was very well-written. Personally, this was not my favorite book. But that is because I do not really like to read comics. I know however, that many people do. Those that do enjoy anime, I think will like this book. It is original, and very funny. many jokes are made. There is no real plot line to this book, there is not a goal that is met. it is mostly just connected jokes. i recommend this book to younger children, and to cartoon and anime fans.

Nate, the enemy of Ms. Godfrey gets in to a lot of trouble. This book is just hilarious! I've also read a few others of this series. This is really good.

Very funny, because it is like one of the usual middle school jumble, girlfriend doesn't acknowledge you, the teachers are mean, there is a/are bully(s) that gives wedgies, and other semantics like that. But for Nate, 11 year old middle schooler, he believes that he is destined for greatness, but we shall soon see if he is right or wrong...
