i decided to read this book because my friend had recommended it to me and decided to step out of my comfort zone and read the book. I think other people should the book because it is very interesting and it pulls you into a world of mystery. There is three characters violet, klaus, and sonny who goes on advertures to save themselves from getting killed from count olaf. Their parents got killed in a fire but they were very rich. Count Olaf (being greedy) wants the baudelaire children killed so he can get their fortune.
Liked the book, but not Carmelita Spats, if that is her name
This is the eleventh book in A Series of Unfortunate Events. If you haven't read the others, then it's kinda hard to explain. If you have, and just haven't gotten to this one yet, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Bauledaire meet a guy named Captain Widdershins and his daughter, Fiona. The group runs into Count Olaf, Esme, and Carmelita Spats aboard a submarine called the Carmelita. It just goes on from there, too.
I LOVE this book because it is interestingly happy. Still, the element of scary comes in with Count Olaf once again trying to capture the Baudeliares.

This book is really interesting has a lot of twist but in order to really understand the books you have to read the previous ones, I highly recommend the series but it is a very sad one and has a lot of murdering but other wise this book is awesome! This book is also part realistic fiction if you get to the part with the poison.
I have decided to read this book because I have read all the other Lemony Snicket books in the series. I have loved every single one of his books in this series. I have all the books in hardback and am excited to be reading this book.
The children named violet ,klaus,and sunny have to live with a very bad man and had to do a play with the bad man and violet had to pretend that she was merging him.
