A boy really wants a dog, but his dad doesn't want a dog. His mother gets him a guinea pig instead. The boy is mad, and even a bit sad, but lives through it. In the end, the guinea pig acts like a dog, so the boy and his family are satisfied.

This book is THE BEST!!! I got it at a book fair, and didn't really get interested. My mom told me to make time to read it, and when i read it, i got sucked in. The book was so good, i skipped lunch for it.

This book is one of the best books of all time.
