J.K. Rowling’s new book starts in the lovely little kingdom of Cornucopia. Ruled by King Fred the Fearless. With the capital of said kingdom, Chouxville, where they had a pastry shop that had the most delicious pastries in possibly the whole world (And that’s an understatement.) But while Kurdsberg is famous for their many types of cheese, and Baronstown is famous for their fine selection of meats, there was a small part near the northern tip of Cornucopia that could only be best described as the Marshlands. A place that grew nothing more than a few mushrooms and dry grass. The only good thing that came out of there was the legend of the Ickabog. When a Marshlander comes to King Fred and claims the Ickabog ate his poor dog, Fred sets out on a quest to find this Ickabog, see if it is real. And then slay it. When they see nothing, they assume, like always, that the Ickabog was never real. Or is it? Good book, hard to put down. Really liked all the drawings from kids in there. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that in a book that is directed to 9-11 year olds, that there was some really dark moments.Over 3 years agosylvie55555liked a comment in The Ickabog.

The Ickabog by J.K Rowling is a book about King Fred the fearless and the legend of the Ickabog. I really like how the problems are real, for example when Bert and Daisy get into a fight over the king. As well as the trauma you feel when losing a parent. I really enjoyed reading this book and could not put it down. As you get farther in the book you wonder more and more if the legend of the Ickabog is true or not! Though it was a little slow at first, it quickly sped up. I would recommend for anyone who likes fairytale type books.Over 3 years agosylvie55555 added a new comment in
