The book club
is about to get
a makeover....

Even if Megan would rather be at the mall, Cassidy is late for hockey practice, Emma's already read every book in existence, and Jess is missing her mother too much to care, the new book club is scheduled to meet every month.

But what begins as a mom-imposed ritual of reading Little Women soon helps four unlikely friends navigate the drama of middle school. From stolen journals, to secret crushes, to a fashion-fiasco first dance, the girls are up to their Wellie boots in drama. They can't help but wonder: What would Jo March do?

Acclaimed author Heather Vogel Frederick will delight daughters of all ages in a novel about the fabulousness of fiction, family, and friendship.

This is a book that kept me reading over the summer. some parts of it you really have to slug through, but other sections make you want to read more.

This is probably like a good book to think Bout if you are in l love with your mom

when the mothers tell the four girls they are starting a book club. Meagan Wong didn't like the other girls then in the middle of the book Meagan tell the other girls she want have fun with them. Cassidy love hockey, Jess love animals, Emma love to read,Meagan loves fashion.

The Mother Daughter Book Club by Heather Vogel Frederick is AWESOME! I loved it so much! I can totally relate to some of the adventures that the girls and there moms go through. Everybody needs to read this book! :)

In this book, it is about four girls that are forced to join an mother and daughter book club. Being very different from one another, they still learn how to be friends in a weird way. There is Emma, who would be described by Megan as "The teacher's pet." Her family was at the time poor. Then, there is Jess, Emma's best friend. She is an genius, and skipped a few grades already. Her mom is on a show called Heartbeats, so she misses her a lot. Megan wants to be a fashion designer, but her mom does not want her to be one. She used to be friends with Emma, but is now part of the "Fab Four." Cassidy is my favorite character, playing ice hockey, and sticking up for the people being teased. She is mostly a tomboy, with her mom being a supermodel. Somehow, these four girls learn how to become friends. Somehow. If you like my reviews, please follow me :D
