from the preview, I consider the characters' thoughts and dialogue pretty fake. it just doesn't sound natural. like they're saying it for a really bad script. of course its just a preview. maybe it'll get better later on

I really don't like when the dialogue in books don't sound natural. The first sentence: "I can't believe I was so stupid to have done what I did!" Interesting, but it sounds like she's trying to hard to get the reader hooked.
