Fight with the horde... or die with love.  Separated by time and space, our heroes finally return home. But five years have passed and they find a nightmarishly changed world. The despised Horde are now in control. The healing lakes of Elyon are now blood red. And mighty Thomas Hunter and his Forest Guard have disappeared. Then the world unravels further. Dive into a journey among the Horde whose sole mission is the destruction of the Circle. Come face-to-face with an enchantingly beautiful creature with unearthly powers—and questionable motives. Take a stand with the chosen but be wary, for all is not as it seems. Now the chosen themselves are questioning their very sanity. For the only way to win may be to lose. The only way to live may be to die. And the only one to lead may be a lunatic.

"Oh my gosh! I am really into this series by now! It helps to me that it has a basis on Christianity, with the vilain, Teeleh, representing the devil, and the hero, Elyon, as God. The Horde are followers of Teeleh, and the humans are followers of Elyon. I espicially love Darsal`s new role in the series! At Elyon`s command, she goes to the Horde city to live with the Horde and get them to follow Elyon. She faces some problems, namely General Marak, who is a tough Horde general at first, but a man in pain underneath. "To serve this beast of a man. To love this one. This beast of a man who would sooner take her head off then look at her." - Page 145 "Elyon, what do you mean? How do I love a mongrel? He`s rotten through and through, as good as dead already." But the resounding, soft voice continued. "So were you." - Page 180 "This mighty Horde general had shown his underbelly. His brother`s death had wounded him deeply. He had loved and lost." - Page 239"
