Something terrible has happened. Eleven-year-old Aubrey is on her own. 'It was fun at first, playing house. Nothing to think about but T.V and cheese. A perfect world'. She's determined to hide away and take care of herself, because facing the truth is too much to bear. 'I couldn't let anyone know that I was alone. I was staying right here'. But with the love of her grandmother and the letters she writes, can Aubrey begin to see that even though she's lost everything - all is not lost?

Great book, if you don't like emotional books this is not the book for you. I cried over this book actually, very very good book. I absolutely love this book. I can't imagine eating cheese for a long period of time. I just wish she reached out for help sooner.

The saddest book ever!!!!! I cried the entire time!!!!! :(

Suzanne LaFleur wrote the book, Love, Aubrey. Love, Aubrey is about an eleven year old girl named Aubrey who has gone through many tragic events in her short lifetime. She survives a car crash that kills her little sister, Savannah, and her father. Her mother, overwhelmed with grief abandons Aubrey unannounced. With the love of her grandmother and new friends she tries to deal with her grief, isolation, disappointment, and loss. I felt really inspired by the book Love, Aubrey because she shows that whatever hardships you go through, you can eventually get passed it with loved ones and good friends by your side. Aubrey is a great example of being brave because even though she lost two family members and her mother left her she did not just sit in bed all day and mope around. She did something with her life. This is a great example for people, that even though you go through a rough patch in your life you can still live a happy life, and that is the reason I love this book. This book is realistic fiction because all the events that took place have or could happen in real life. Many children in life have been in a car crash or been abandoned by a parent or guardian. I think the type of reader who would enjoy this book is a female between the ages of 9-14. I think this because the kids between this age will really appreciate how well written this book is. One type of external conflict Aubrey experiences is man vs. man because Aubrey fights with her mother for leaving her behind and abandoning her. Aubrey also has internal conflicts with herself because she is trying to get past her grief from the loss of her father and little sister.

is it good or bad?

It is about a girl named Aubrey who lives by herself. Her dad and little sister died in a car crash. Her mom randomly left find out you can read it.

I recommend this book because Its a good book and its kind of like a mystery book because Aubrey trys to find her parents. I liked this book because it was interesting that Aubrey had to live by her self with out parents until she trys many ways on how to find them

this book was the worst book ever

This book is so awesome! I love this book because it is a little sad but there are some happy parts in it too. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes sad stories.

One of my favorites! It's really sad, I cried, but trust me, it's a good book!

I decided to read this book because the description really pulled me in. I then read it, and I loved it!The idea for her dad to leave the keys for Elise to find was amazing! Also, how Elise decided what to do with the room and her own life.
