Hilarious childhood biographies and full-color illustrations show how Tiger Woods, Gabby Douglas, Bruce Lee, Bille Jean King, and other budding sports champions faced kid-sized challenges growing up.

Forget the gold medals, the championships, and the undefeated seasons. When all-star athletes were growing up, they had regular-kid problems just like you. Baseball legend Babe Ruth was such a troublemaker, his family sent him to reform school. Race car champion Danica Patrick fended off bullies who told her “girls can’t drive.” And football superstar Peyton Manning was forced to dance the tango in his school play. Kid Athletes tells all of their stories and more with full-color cartoon illustrations on every page. Other subjects include Billie Jean King, Jackie Robinson, Yao Ming, Gabby Douglas, Tiger Woods, Julie Krone, Bruce Lee, Muhammad Ali, Bobby Orr, Lionel Messi, and more!

This was an awesome book. It talked about athletes and theirs lives before they became really good. It was about how they were bullied and mistreated, but still managed to overcome them to become what they are currently. Read It!!

I love athletes so this book was totally for me. It is extravagant and shows off the world in such a way that you will wonder how you kept up to date with athletes before this came into your life. Enjoy!!

I really liked reading this book about the childhoods of famous athletes! It was very inspiring to read! I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about their favorite athletes!

This was a very inspiring book! I really enjoyed reading about the childhoods of some of my favorite athletes! I would recommend this book to anyone who really liked sports!

If you read Kid Presidents and enjoyed it, this should be on your to-read list. The book tells stories about athletes such as Yao Ming, Lionel Messi and Peyton Manning.

This book was really good. This book tells stories from the athletes childhood to get a glimpse of their life. I loved reading about Gabby Douglas the most. Some stories are funny, some are sad, but in the end I loved them all. This is a perfect book for all sports lovers.

This book was really cool. It had all kinds of different sports, and their most well known athletes. Weather you are into baseball, basketball or even racecar driving, there is a place for you in this book. The one thing that upset me a little bit was that there were no swimmers in this book. I hope the author can do a sequel to this book and maybe add a swimmer? Possibly?

This book is one of my most favorite book ever. I am a huge sport fan ( basketball, hockey, baseball, and football). I rate this book 5 star.

This book was the best!!! I have really learned about athletes and the problems they have had before becoming prodigies. It really inspires you to do what you love and give it all you got. Read this book!!!
