In this all-new very special mini-series, the Aldens have been recruited by a secret society to return lost artifacts and treasures to their rightful locations—all around the world! After finding a painted turtle figurine, the Aldens are introduced to the Silverton family and Reddimus Society, a secret guild whose mission is to return lost artifacts and treasures to the sites they were taken from. The Aldens board a private train to New Mexico to return the turtle to its original home, and they encounter enemies of Reddimus along the way! The trip is a success… but instead of returning home, there’s a last-minute change in plans. The Boxcar Children must continue the mission for the society and deliver more things, all around the globe!

Journey on a Runaway Train. Is not even close to as good as the oringal serie. But, it is a start for beginniner readers. The plot is decent and there is also a promblem and solution so in that way it is good.

This book series is a must read along with being a classic. Even if you go in thinking that you won't like it, it fits into so many categories and is so lighthearted!

This series is not as interesting as the original Boxcar Children books. It was not engaging & I didn't feel like I was exploring alongside the Aldens. It seems like something the author put together very quickly. I will still read the original books because I enjoyed every one I have read!

this book is so good. the boxcar children are so amazing. they do such cool stuff. they do awesome mysteries you should definitely read this book!!!!

This is yet another journey for the Boxcar Children! I read the first book, and when I saw this on the summer reading list... why not give it a try? So far, I think it is really amazing. Yet, its weird that the pictures look like that, because I read the old Boxcar Children book and they are veryyy old. Anyways, lovely book so far and I recommend it to young (and old) readers.

that is a amazing book especially at the end of the book

really good book about stowaways on a train and get detached from the front. They have to survive with what they can find and what Henry the oldest brings from a nearby town.

These books bring me back to first grade when I loved to read them all the time! This one is action-packed and humorous, and I just loved it. The new plot is unique to the original, and it makes it much more interesting to read.

I really like this book and the series it is in. Once you start reading this adventurous series, you will not want to stop at book 5.

Looks great and I love this type of book I want to read it and I will when I rotate classes I really can't wait
