The book had pretty boring scenes in it, and it wasn't written that comfortingly. Especially the fact that I just finished the Harry Potter series before I read this book gave me a taste of something new and as fresh. This didn't work out as well as I thought it would be. With Harry Potter, every chapter has something new, and it is always greatly made. Some of the chapters in this book just state the way they're walking, some tiny battles, and how they're so lucky to find water!

I think this book was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it. Its about a boy who finds a dragon egg, a old dragon teller brom helps him.They have adventures and battles and sad things.I think if you are a fantasy lover you would love this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great opening for the series. It sets a great mold for the series, and I recommend it for any dragon-lovers or fantasy lovers.

This book is my favorite book, yet. I like it because of the fantasy adventure, the beautiful blue dragon (Saphira) ,and a boy that never gives up! Eragon (the boy) find a stone and in a few days it hatches and it's a dragon. An old guy that used to be a dragon rider helps Eragon on his adventure.(they have to destroy the bad empire) The finishes that the old guy dies in battle, they find a guy that goes with them, and they kill the bad kings assistant. Book #2 is red, book #3 is gold, and book #4 is green. This an amazing book, so go to the book store and this awesome book!!
This was one of the BEST books ever. So this boy named Eragon finds a blue stone in a forest, and decides to keep it. It turns out to be an dragon egg, so the dragon (Named Saphira) and him go on an adventure together meeting people along the way.
This book is good for kids who have just finished the harry potter books and want a new fantisy/adventure book. i would reccomend it from 4th/adults.
