Is it possible to grow up while getting younger?

Welcome to Elsewhere. It is warm, with a breeze, and the beaches are marvelous. It’s quiet and peaceful. You can’t get sick or any older. Curious to see new paintings by Picasso? Swing by one of Elsewhere’s museums. Need to talk to someone about your problems? Stop by Marilyn Monroe’s psychiatric practice.

Elsewhere is where fifteen-year-old Liz Hall ends up, after she has died. It is a place so like Earth, yet completely different. Here Liz will age backward from the day of her death until she becomes a baby again and returns to Earth. But Liz wants to turn sixteen, not fourteen again. She wants to get her driver’s license. She wants to graduate from high school and go to college. And now that she’s dead, Liz is being forced to live a life she doesn’t want with a grandmother she has only just met. And it is not going well. How can Liz let go of the only life she has ever known and embrace a new one? Is it possible that a life lived in reverse is no different from a life lived forward? This moving, often funny book about grief, death, and loss will stay with the reader long after the last page is turned.

oh may gosh. i could use three words for this book... BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!!! wow just the book i've been wating for, so amazing!!!!!!!!!!

This author has an amazing imagination.

Liz hears her worst thought confirmed. She's dead. This is her story of Elsewhere, where you never get older, only younger. When you're finally 7 days old, you get shipped off as a baby. Liz died when she was 15, and meets new people she would never had met had she not been in Elsewhere. If you want mystery, this book's got mystery. I think that everyone should read this amazing book.

elsewhere was totally good but where did the author come up with the idea???????? i mean seriously after you die you go to a place where you grow younger until you're a baby and they send you back to earth to be reborn that's kinda weird but i guess it would be short for a 15-year old

Elsewhere certainly has my vote for book of the year, maybe even book of the century! It all starts when Liz, a fifteen year old girl, wakes up on a ship and has no idea where she is. Liz soon finds out the she died in a bicycle accident, and her boat is headed to Elsewhere (the afterlife). There, Liz goes through a series of depressions, gets the job of her dreams, and falls in love. And she thought the afterlife would be all angels playing harps. Maybe dying isn't so bad after all. Witty, imaginative, and dashed with love, Elsewhere will pull you in and never let you go.

I love your review, warriorgirl! sounds like you really like the book!

this book was really cool and i would probably rate it 4 stars. it was about a place that you go to when you die where you age backwards from the age you died at and whenever you become 7 days old you go back to Earth. BOOK= SOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!!

sounds like a nice book and will read it after i finish hunger games series! I hope i like it and it sound insanely interesting and tempting to read

When Liz awakens on a boat, she has no idea why she is there. She soon makes a new friend names Thandi and finds out that she is dead, on her way to Elsewhere. In Elsewhere, people age backwards until they are reborn again on earth. But Liz doesn't want to age backward. She wants to turn 16 and get her liscense. She wants to see her family. But in Elsewhere, anything is possible.

The second book that has made me cry. It was so touching!
