Queen Diamante rules the fairy Kingdom of the Clouds. All is well in Queen Diamante's realm as long as the fabulous Rainbow Stone is with them. The queen's seven daughters, Ruby, Citrine, Topaz, Emeralda, Sapphira, Lapis and Amethyst, tap the magical powers of this fabulous diamond to help their mother.

But one terrible day, Queen Diamante’s evil sister Electra, and her hordes of storm gremlins, raid Queen Diamante’s castle and stole the Rainbow Stone. Worst of all, the storm swept Queen Diamante’s daughters away.
