I thought the book was very funny and reminded me of the Diary of the Wimpy Kid series and the Captain Underpants series somewhat as well. It uses cheesy humor to get a good laugh out of the reader just similar to all the books you would read in middle school. The book is about funny boy with a wild imagination entering and winning a contest to see who the funniest kid in the world is. After he wins the contest people begin to believe the only reason he won is because his legs don't work and has to use a wheel chair. This is the one thing the main character hates the most, when people treat him special. He would liked to be treated as if his legs worked. This reminds me of a classmate of mine at my old school who also couldn't walk.

This book is about a girl meeting a family who got immortality from drinking spring water. Someone else this girl meets is a man in yellow who wants to market the spring water for a fortune. This is a unique and original story that I have never read anything like before. The book reminds me of a family that I thought was magic. They moved into my neighborhood and they had a semi truck full with Little-Debbie treats and snacks. He would always let my brother and I have some if we wanted it.

This book is great because it is a collection of stories so if don't like one you don't necessarily have to read it to understand the plot. It reminds me of a book I read when i was younger with a collection of popular folktales with slight tweaks and twists. The title of the book ''The Red Hot Pepper Weenies'' is one of the stories in the collection about two students from a school but, are both from different places. One is from New Mexico the other is from Texas. The students both test their pepper eating skills by bringing a different hotter pepper to lunch everyday. They will then both proceed to eat the pepper without making a noise or a face. They do this until the day that they both break. This also reminds me of the pointless arguments that went on at my old elementary school. Everyone would say I'm not your friend anymore and the next show up sitting next to each other at lunch.
