I believe I should earn this book because I was won Kid Authors and honestly that was a great book. I got to learn about famous authors we know today and their backgrounds. Because this book is written by the dame author and is the same series, I figured I would get to learn the stories of the scientists we know today. I think I should read this because I loved "Kid Authors" and love to hear about real people. I love science and books too, so this would be a great book for me and my family!

I really enjoyed The Mortification of Fovea Munson. I at first thought that it might be a little creepy and all since it is about talking heads without bodies, but boy I was wrong! Even though it’s talking heads they aren’t at all mean or scary for that matter! The heads turn out to be quite nice, and funny too! I really enjoyed reading about Fovea’s adventures and hope others do too!

This isn’t a good book, not even a great book. It’s an utterly amazing novel! <3 I don’t reallt like the author Katherine Applegate, but the style and perspective she wrote this book in - from the point of view of a TREE - was amazing. You will actually think she has experienced life as a tree. Enough complimenting. This book is about Red, a “wishtree”, meaning people write their wishes on a paper and tie it around Red. Red has animal friends, and has a peaceful life - u til the new family move in! A MUST READ!
