WOAH... When I started to read the article, I started to feel excited, like there was a planet that I might live on someday. Even after I read that this has not been claimed for 100%, but I have my hopes held high, and I'm starting to like astronomy more and more!

Oh My Gosh!!!!! I was once a kid with bad grades on astronomy, and when my family picked this movie to watch, I moaned and groaned... but once I started watching, I was sucked up in the story like a vacuum cleaner sucking up dust! Once the movie ended, I didn't budge until my mom told me that she would buy me a poster with a lot of stuff about outer space! I love the main character, Mark Watney with his hilarious lines and actions. But once I thought about it, he did everything right to survive on mars, which was pretty amazing. I TOTALLY recommend this movie to all of you, whether you like astronomy or not, and if you don't, you will absolutely start to like it. If you DO NOT want to start to like another subject in school to have to study a lot about, go ahead and don't see the movie. But I GUARANTEE you that you won't regret seeing it.

What a great movie! Mark Watney has to survive on Mars with little food and find a way to grow crops and get off the planet. The special effects and cinematography were amazing, the humor was spot-on (just some mild language lol), and the plot was exciting! :D

I think most of you know that movies have moving pictures, or videos in them, and with a million tons of water flying around a teenager in a perfect sphere, you know that the movie isn't ordinary. I've watched the sea of monsters also, and I can't wait until the titan's curse comes out as a movie. TOTALLY recommend this to you whether you have or haven't read the book.

This book series, and this book itself is a non-stop distraction! (in a good way) once I started to read the first book, I couldn't stop! I seriously didn't finish my homework, and got in a bit of trouble, but it was worth it! all of the books leave off of cliff-hangers, which makes you really want to read the next book! make sure to read the whole series, and don't forget to read the second series too, "Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus"!!!!!
