I have never read a book like Utomia: The Legend Beyond before, and am glad I had the opportunity to read this type of book! Loach, Sty, Nudge, and Leeland are a close group of fun-loving friends. But one day, what was meant to be a harmless experiment goes incredibly wrong. Purple smoke appears in the sky, and two different armies come to the boys' village. After Loach and Leeland's parents are captured, the boys find themselves alone. They decide to go to the famous city Utomia. As the boys venture off on their own, their journey brings them closer together and helps them learn the true meaning of friendship and brotherhood. Since I have not read much books with characters add animals, it took a little getting used to. It was also slow at times but overall, it was really well written. This book is good for boys and girls who enjoy adventure books. Thanks Dogobooks for sending me this book!

I have a friend who has read these books and loved them. She has said multiple times that I would like it and according the reviews, Sophie and Agatha's story looks like something I would really enjoy reading!

hummingbird1's book review was featured in Weird But True 9.
My sisters and I have always been a huge fan of Weird but True books, so when this one arrived in the mail from Dogobooks, (thanks Dogo!!!) all three of us awed over the facts in excitement. This whole book is filled with amazing wonders of the word! For instance, did you know that a man once returned a book that was overdue... by 42 years? Or that you can go to elf school in Iceland? Both of these are found in Weird But True 9, and there are many, many more. I highly encourage you to read this book!!! It is awesome! I recommend this book to boys and girls of all ages.
