Our whole school is big on Earth Day, especially our gym and health teachers. So on Earth Day, it was "Litterless Lunch Day". We had to bring reusable containers and water bottles, and try to not fill the trash cans with paper bag, junk food bags, even leftover food and milk. It was amazing, and the grade that got the least trash (they weighed it) was awarded a book basket, Earth Day posters, and a healthy-food party (they served watermelons, it was amazing)! Like my teacher said, it should be Earth Day every day! Just because it's our planet, and we've made some mistakes. It's not like we can just move to Pluto or something, so we have to take care of it because we won't have a second chance.
P. S. Some of my friends were in a feature film called Save My Tomorrow by HBO. The movie was amazing!
