deafgirlhistory's book review was featured in Charlotte's Web (50th Anniversary Retrospective Edition).
Fern Arable, a young girl of about eight who has saved the pig, Wilbur, from her father, Mr. John Arable from killing Wilbur. Ever since, Fern has been fond of Wilbur, but when Wilbur was only one month old, the Arables sold Wilbur to Fern`s uncle, Mr. Homer L. Zuckerman. But the other animals that Wilbur has known and met doesn`t even want to play with him, and he only could do; talk with Templeton the rat. Until he met the spider which is named Charlotte. The ending is very sad; Charlotte dies, and she has laid 514 eggs of which three daughters which that Charlotte has laid; Joy, Aranea, and Nellie which has made Wilbur so happy. I would definitely recommend this book! - Happy Reading!
