This is great book about a boy who's thirteen and a total geek. He can memorize an entire college textbook in less than an hour!!! His name? Lenny Cyrus. How far might a boy go to get a girl he has a crush on to like him? Well, if you are Lenny, into your crushes body! He decides to try to get Zooey, the girl he likes, to like him back by shrinking himself down to a microscopic size and actually traveling into her brain to convince her. But something goes wrong and Zooey's body goes into a sort of lock-down. Can Lenny Cyrus save her before time runs out? Well you just have to read this book to find out! This funny adventure book is great for both boys and girls. Its great for middle school students but even good fourth and fifth grade readers will enjoy it.

I really love this book. It's an adventurous book full of mysteries. Jacqueline Davies is a great author and gets her thoughts out onto the paper. Evan and Jessie Treski are siblings that love each other but at the same time are each others worst nightmares. You will have such a great time reading this book and will get a lot of laughs out of it.

This book was really good. I got a little scared. I love how she recovers from the fever and she lives happily.

The Candy Smash by Jacqueline Davis, is the fourth book in a amazing series. Evan and Jessie are a few months into fourth grade and Valentine's Day is coming up. Jessie is still the smartest (and youngest) in the class, and Evan still plays basketball. But a few days before Valentine's Day strange things start happening. The whole class starts receiving candy hearts with special on them. Things get even weirder when Jessie finds initials written on the bathroom wall with a heart around it. Now it's up to Jessie to get to the bottom of it no matter how hurtful the truth is. It's a good book if you like books with a little love. Unlike the others who are all mysteries of wars this one is a love story. My favorite in the series the first because the fresh and fun but I enjoyed this one as well. I hope there is a fifth one because Jacqueline Davis is a great author.

I really liked this book. It told about the true meaning of friendship. I also liked it because it was a little bit of a mystery. I also liked it because each chapter was from a different point of view (either Evan's or Jessie's) so you got to read what was happening in both of their perspectives, and know what they were thinking. It was nice how they added poetry in. You got to read poems, and also how to make some(with building blocks;aka;post-it notes). I really liked this book and would strongly recommend it!!!

This book was good, it wasn't the best book i've ever read but it wasn't the worst. The main problem i had with it was that it was all about love (t as interesting as the other books and was very very predictable. Though on the other hand one aspect that i really liked was the poems, i loe poetry and i loved the way that they showed how you could write your own. i tried it and even though it wasted a lot of paper (sorry ;) i came out with a beautiful poem that i surprised my mother with for a late, late, really late christmas present!

The Candy Smash is a Valentines Day themed mystery. It takes place in room 4-O a fourth grade classroom in Hillside Elementary School. The mystery begins when personalized boxes of candy hearts appear mysteriously in everybody’s desk. Everybody’s except for a boy named Evan, whose candy hearts seem to have been bought from a normal store. He also discovers a love of poetry, which he wants to keep secret until his sister publishes one of his poems in the classroom paper The 4-O Forum thinking he will be thrilled. This book is a quick read with an especially thin plot. I read it in a couple of hours. I would recommend it to people that like poetry because there are a ton of poems in the book. This book is more for kids ages 10 and under.
