This book, all in all, was a nice book. I didn't find it super unique, but it delivered. My main problems for this book was, firstly, a huge lack of descriptions on characters, both main and unimportant ones. There wasn't ANY description whatsoever for our big man of the hour, Evan Quick, THE MAIN CHARACTER. Nothing. So I just have to use my imagination as to what Evan really looks like. Next, the plot DRAGS. Some of the material could use some chopping. This is a superhero book, yes, but I didn't expect the plot to be THAT predictable and corny. Half the book I couldn't wrap my mind around and wasn't described well enough, so I had no clue what was happening. I did find some parts interesting, but honestly, I don't think Mr. McCullough did a good job in making the unrealistic seem real. The book ended without me feeling satisfied, instead, I felt as if this needs a sequel to finish it off. All in all, it was alright, but I'm not really sure who I would recommend this to.About 8 years agohappypug12 added a book review.

The days of staring intently at the computer screen pretending to be interested in an assignment even though you are bored out of your mind may soon be coming to an end. That's ...About 8 years agohappypug12liked a comment in Guess What? Computers Of The Future May Be Able To Detect Boredom!.

Jamie's happily-ever-after was short-lived–yes, he won the contest that he always dreamed of, but there's a catch. He did get his million bucks–but he signed a contract (he thought it was a receipt). Turns out, the moolah was just an advance payment for a pilot of his own TV show–Jamie Funnie. To make matters worse, there's a new bully in town, Jamie worries (and sweats) that he's not funny, his friends can't count on him anymore, his new teacher can teach six weeks worth of school in six minutes, and...well, I'll let you find out the rest when you read it. Just steer clear of Stewart Johnson and his bad jokes and you'll love this book just as much as I did!About 8 years agohappypug12 added a book review.

Wow. I just....wow. Bringing together action, suspense, mystery, and a dash of romance can be a daunting task, but Marvel Studios created a must-see film. I am a big super hero fan, so I know every comic, movie, and story line and they followed the story perfectly. No scene was boring or less CAP-tivating (see what I did there?) than the other. I couldn't take my eyes of the silver screen! A incredible 5 STARS!About 8 years agohappypug12 has read this book.
