There's more than meets the eye in James Patterson's newest illustrated middle grade novel--a book so fun kids will actually put down their games to read it!

Invisible creatures are attacking the school, and 12-year-old Bartholomew Bean is the only one who can stop them!

Okay, so maybe Bart is only a hero in the video game app he created. But if he reveals his identity as the genius behind the game, he'll become the most popular kid in school! Or he could secretly use the game to get back at his bullies...

SPOILER ALERT!!! This is a truly phenomenal story of a boy and his dog. Just kidding! Don't worry guys! I didn't miraculously mature overnight. It's actually a novel about a computer geek from Philadelphia who doesn't fit in mainly because he try's to fit in. So the kid creates a video game of aliens and whatnot. So the aliens are like "Surrender or die Earthlings!" And everyone at the kids school are like "NOPE!" and start playing the game and the game blows up. So the kid embarks on a quest for revenge against his tormentors but he fails and learns the true meaning of friendship and blah blah blah but seriously its a great book. I should know. I've only read it, oh, five billion times! #thisbookisnotboring
