Star Wars: The Lives & Adventures: Collecting The Life and Legend of Obi Wan Kenobi, The Rise and Fall of Darth Vader, A New Hope: The Life of Luke Skywalker, ... of Darth Maul (Disney Junior Novel (ebook))

By Ryder Windham

The main lesson that Obi-Wan learns was the more patient you are the more knowledgeable you will become. Obi-Wan learned this when he and his apprentice are dueling on Mustafar. For example, when Obi-Wan's apprentice did a hasty and impatient leap Obi-Wan cut of his legs. But if his apprentice was not hasty and impatient he might have not gotten his legs cut off. Also, his friend Luke reminded him of this lesson. Luke reminded Obi-Wan when Luke was fighting Darth Vader Luke was hasty and impatient like his father/ Obi-Wan's apprentice because Luke got his hand cut off. That is how Obi-Wan learned that lesson. I'd rate this book 9 out of 10. I would recommend this book to everybody because it is action packed and adventurous and has some humor too.

By Kevin Sands, James Riley, J. D. Rinehart, Jonathan Maberry, Kevin Sylvester, Robert Venditti

I got this chapter sampler at Barnes N' Noble one time. It was really cool. I've never seen a sampler with six stories inside, including one of my favorite ones, Story Thieves. I recommend this to anyone who wants a sneak peek of adventure books.

21 Proms is very amazing book. This is a collection of several prom stories, each written by a different author. Adrift

Adrift

By Paul Griffin

I found Adrift after a desperate search of my library for a book that might heal a bit of the heartbreak from the ending of the Throne of Glass series., and since it was short and had a decent-looking storyline, I grabbed it and started reading. You can't go wrong with a book about five teens stranded at sea with no hope of survival, right? WRONG. Don't get me wrong, I like a fast-paced book, but Adrift was had a blink-and-you'll-miss-it plot. It felt like the author just tossed the story upon you without a second thought for character development. It definitely would have done better as a longer novel. But I have to give Mr. Griffin credit; the story is what it claims to be and nothing less. It was realistic in gristly details and had an ending that just sums up how life goes: The main characters don't always get the girl, not everyone lives, and it's not always just forgive-and-forget. I found Adrift in the teen section, but anyone could read it. It's only 228 pages, so I didn't lose much, but this book didn't leave me feeling like I'd gained anything, either.
