Calling Extra
By Kristina Romero
I really enjoyed this book because i love Newsies. it made me so sad that Grin was injured and didn't see Elsie again until they were in their 80s! I totally shipped them. Such a good but sad book
The Underground Railroad (American Girl: Real Stories From My Time)
By Bonnie Bader, Connie Porter
Pretty cool, Stellalune you should actually read this book because it might help you later on with your school reports, I acted out as Harriet Tubman for a report.
All We Have Left
By Wendy Mills
it made me cry to think that sometimes some people's entire lives are defined because of something their race did and that because of this once sane people can turn very judgemental about it.
A Land Remembered, Volume 1
By Patrick D Smith
This book was amazing! We watched the past come to life through words. This was a story about a pioneer family coming to Florida. We loved hearing about the MacIvey family overcoming hardships and making a name for their family in the Florida wilderness.
Finding Freedom: An Addy Classic Volume 1 (American Girl Beforever Classic)
By Connie Porter
Makiya
this book was so historically true as for as how slaves were treated and how some white people wanted to help them get free. This books brought tears to my eyes when Addy was made to eat worms. I just hope that I would be as strong as she and her family were. I think everyone should read this book. I want to read more and I have two more to read. I give this book 5 stars. I am in the 7th grade and I had this book for two years but just decided to read it.
A Tyranny of Petticoats: 15 Stories of Belles, Bank Robbers & Other Badass Girls
By Jessica Spotswood
looks cool
U.S. Presidents (Ken Jennings’ Junior Genius Guides)
By Ken Jennings
Hi, I am in 3rd grade! I really liked this book! It taught me a lot about the presidents and I have already memorized the presidents 1-20. The book does have quite a few complicated words so I would recommend the book for 4-7th grade. But the book does teach you a lot about being a president and teaches you information about specific presidents if there is a specific president you want to learn about.
