Danny, El Campeon Del Mundo / Danny, the Champion of the World (Spanish Edition)
By Roald Dahl, Roald Fahl, Jill Bennett
In the beginning of the story there was a boy called Danny. HE had a marvellous father called William. One day when Danny was trying to sleep, he went to his father’s room to tell him that he couldn't sleep but he wasn't there so... What do you think happened to his father? If you want to know about it, read this marvellous book. I liked this story because it has a lot of mystery and adventure. This book has a lot of feelings such as revenge. My favorite part was when Danny and his father ruined the shooting party. My favorite part was when they ruined his party I recommend this book because you can learn a bunch of things like how to treat poor people. It is very appropriate for children who are between 7 and 10 years old.

Impulse
By Ellen Hopkins
Have you ever wondered what it would be like through the eyes of a depressed person with some mental issues? Well then I would recommend Impulse, by Ellen Hopkins. The book’s main protagonists are Conner, Vanessa, and Tony, all very troubled people who reside at a rehab center. Vanessa, a girl whose father is overseas and mother will do anything to take away the hurt, resorts to self harm to take away the pain. Tony, a boy who’s life was mostly lived on the streets. His father abandoned him, and his mother had many horrible boyfriends. He believed his only choice was to swallow pills. Finally, Conner. From the outside he lived the perfect life but on the inside he struggled to live with his parents high standards. He believed his only choice was to pull the trigger. The main antagonist in the story is the characters themselves. They all do many things to harm and injure themselves on purpose. One major conflict in the book is they all attempt to stop the harmful things they do but some give in to their addiction. Another conflict for them is trying to accept that people do care for them and they try to learn to love again. The main turning point in the book is when Vanessa,Tony, and Conner all find love and try to stop doing the things that hurt them the most. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a gritty but gripping novel that really touches on your emotions.
Kiss Me Tomorrow
By Susan Shreve
It's been a while since I've this book. I don't know how to describe this book. What I thought of it: There was not one decent male role-model in the entire book. All of the men were terrible people, and that REALLY bothered me. Another thing I didn't like was that Blister's mom had them move in with some guy she hadn't even known for a year. Who doesn't that? I hated the guy too. Blister as a person was pretty annoying. Her mom was even more annoying. I didn't expect this book to be that good. I don't even know why I bothered to read it. I don't normally read these kinds of books anyway. Overall, it wasn't good.
