If you like suspense, mystery, romance, and tragedy. This is the perfect book for you. 😉 I highly recommend it and the ones before it. #LOVE IT😍😍🥰🥰

The Lord of Opium

The Lord of Opium

By Nancy Farmer

The next installment of the Newberry winning book series; House of the Scorpion, is here, and it's just as good as the original! The lord of opium once follows the adventures of Matt, as El Patron has kicked the bucket, and now Matt, being his clone, is now the new lord of opium. This book is the perfect balance of dystopian fiction, science fiction, and young adult fiction. As I was reading this I was very relieved that Nancy Farmer's exquisite storytelling weaved the loose ends of the last book into a perfect braid of relief. One downside of this book however is that I felt like the climax was a bit rushed, but hey, nothing is completely perfect. This book is a perfect conclusion to, in my opinion, one of the best books of all time, unless... a sequel? Well, probably not, but maybe if I write enough letters, and write enough online reviews, that'll happen.

Thor's Serpents (The Blackwell Pages)

Thor's Serpents (The Blackwell Pages)

By K. L. Armstrong, Melissa Marr

I've read the first 2 for book club, Loki's Wolves and Odin's Ravens, but I'm super pumped to read this one! Matt is a descendant of the Norse god Thor, and Fen, along with his cousin Laurie, are descendants of Loki. The trio discovers that Ragnarok, the end of the world, is coming. As they go along their quest to save the world, they "find" new descendants. Twins Ray and Reyna, descendants of Frey and Freya, Baldwin, descendant of Balder, and Owen, descendant of Odin. Together, the 7 teenagers must stop the apocalypse, before the apocalypse stops them.

The Face on the Milk Carton

The Face on the Milk Carton

By Caroline B. Cooney

3/10, not an amazing book the plot was pretty run on it was more romance than mystery. But the book is not completely terrible. The chapters are pretty long so if you like the chapters to be a little short this is not the book for you. But the background story is great, a teenager named Janie thinks her parents aren't her real parents and decides to investigate does she find out the truth or left curious. Trust me that wasn't even off the back of the book I just like sounding like one of those fancy people sometimes. Overall don't think the book is for everyone.

The Leaving

The Leaving

By Tara Altebrando

I really enjoyed reading this book. It had a very good level of suspense and leveled out between the three characters in the beginning. Avery, is just wondering where her brother, Max could be, hopefully alive. This book makes you want to keep reading until you have to make yourself do something else. This book can relate to real life because some kids out there get this done to them. They get stolen or lost and have to find home again. Overall, it was a great book.
