Feminism: Reinventing the F-Word
By Nadia Abushanab Higgins
It's always about the men being strong and caring for the women-- past ideas. Common for humanity to say "that's just how it is" and forget it. But what happens when the WOMEN take back the power? And will we discover the fact that it's rightfully their's? This is a book of feminists--the not-caring-about-diets singers, the female rights activists, the strong and proud women writers--the world's women who want a change. And after reading this book, that's how you'll feel too. Every person, no matter you are girl, boy, or anyone else, raise your thumbs and say #Yes All Women!
Valentine Princess (A Princess Diaries Book, Vol. 4-1/4)
By Meg Cabot
Once again, Mia Thermopolis, Princess of Genovia, brightens up another novel with her fresh and hilarious attitude. This time, Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and it's the first February 14th where Mia has a boyfriend! The problem is, Michael - along with Mia's best friend Lilly - is dramatically opposed to the holiday, claiming that it's just a mayday for candy and greeting card companies. And while Mia agrees with Michael, the romantic bone in her body won't let the issue go. This is a beautiful, short, and zealous novel that'll have you entertained till the end!
Boy Bites Bug
By Rebecca Petruck
To be honest, this wasn’t a good book. It had a lot of aspects I didn’t like, and some parts were a bit gross. To summarize the whole book, I would say it was just...hard to get into, and not my type of book. I also didn’t like the cover (really, I thought it should’ve been better for readers to pick it up and read it). I do not recommend this book, and rate it 2/5 stars.

But, once Miri gets settled, it doesn't take long for her to realize something's going on. She makes friends with a boy at the school she's attending called Timon. She learns that not all the people in Aslan want a new princess. As she attends Salons and finds out more about what the people plan to do and how they plan to do it, Miri isn't so sure who she can trust.. She's also debating weather or not she wants to go back to Mount Eskel. As time goes on, she finds herself getting more and more mixed up until she finally finds herself right in the middle of the trouble. And in the midst of all this, are two unanswered questions: Who's side is she on? And how much danger is the royal family really in?
Misfits (Royal Academy Rebels)
By Jen Calonita
This is a really good book, especially if you like Jen Calonita's other series, Fairy Tale Reform school or if you like fantasy/fairy tail books. SPOILER ALERT This book ends with a cliff hanger, so if you are someone who HATES when there is a cliffhanger and the next book isnt out, you MIGHT want to wait a few months to read it. This book is similar to the fairy tale reform school series, but if you haven't read those, it will still make sense and the plot/characters are BARELY connected. There is only one part that says something, but it explains later. The main character is a royal named Devinaria (Devin) Nile and can talk to animals. She is NOT your regular pretty pink princess. She likes to get her hands dirty and wear pants. Her dream for the future is to talk to and help animals in need, but that dream is almost crushed when her invitation for RA (Royal Academy) comes. When a villain "breaks in" Devin and her friends realize that Olivina, the famous fairy Godmother, is NOT what she seems. After a few weeks at RA, Davin is very close to being expelled, and does not wait for a prince to come to the rescue, like Olivina thinks she should, during her "tests". Read Royal Academy Rebels: Misfits to learn more!
