Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul
By Jack Canfield
In "Chicken Soup For The Teenage Soul", every teenager can relate to and learn from, but without being criticized or judged. Stories include important lessons on the nature of friendship and love, belief in the future, and the value of respect for yourself and others. The main idea of the book is that there is 101 stories about life, love, and learning written by people around the world but rolled into one book. All of the short stories inspire you about the many challenges in life that people go through. The passage I chose was "Life is about who you love and who you hurt. It's about how you feel about yourself. It's about trust, happiness and compassion. It's about what you say and what you mean. It's about seeing people for who they are and not what they have." I chose this passage because it is a really good quote to live by and learn from. I recommend this book because it shows how other people run into problems, it's not just you. It explains how to overcome them.

All We Have Left
By Wendy Mills
it made me cry to think that sometimes some people's entire lives are defined because of something their race did and that because of this once sane people can turn very judgemental about it.
A Hero's Guide to Deadly Dragons: The Heroic Misadventures of Hiccup the Viking (How to Train Your Dragon)
By Cressida Cowell
this book was great and included an amazing dragon language glossary towards the back for viewers that didn't understand the language in the book. it was written in an interesting way that kept me very interested and had many pages to give you an idea of what was happening.this book was incredibly unique and i would recommend this book to children that are into a little action, mischief and adventure.
