Game Changer

Game Changer

By Margaret Peterson Haddix

This book is pretty good, but the book is kind of confusing. The book is kind of sad because it talks about the kids getting hurt and almost not waking up. The kids get hurt in real life and find themselves in a world they do not know. They fight their way back to the real world and find themselves each on a hospital bed.

Randall's Wall

Randall's Wall

By Carol Fenner

"This was our first "all class" book in 4th grade. I chose this one for us to read because it contained the pattern of the monomyth and because it was a story of a boy whose struggles at home made it difficult for him to easily fit in socially at school. I really liked the way Randall's mysterious nature required us to uncover the value of his character and celebrate his success in the end. Jean was an unforgettable character who had the independence to stick by Randall as a friend even when it wasn't the popular choice and she truly made a difference. "

Marcia's Madness (The Sisters Eight)

Marcia's Madness (The Sisters Eight)

By Lauren Baratz-Logsted, Greg Logsted, Jackie Logsted

I like that in every book one of the sisters finds out her power and she gets her gift. And all I will say about Marcia's power is... it took a while for the other sisters to find out her power. (I hope you can find out Marcia's power faster than her sisters did!)This book was a little confusing at first, but now I read it again and it made a lot more sense.
