I wanted to read this book because I read the back and it sounded really good. The cover pulled me into it too.

it was really good .It is one of my favorite books in the book the mean character loves to read and there is a computation and the mean carcter wants to win and beat a guy that is good at everything read the book to find out if wins and if she beats the other girl

I loved this book! It is about a girl named maria who lives in the Bronx with just her mother, who is a nurse. When life becomes too hard for maria, they move to Martha Vineyard where her mother takes care of an old man in a big mansion. in their new home she finds a treasure map hidden in the eaves written by captain murdefer. I believe that Gerald could really dance but he did not because the book what elephant made him think it was true. But it was not because everyone can dance you just have to believe in yourself. Then at the end a surprise happened that Gerald did not see coming. I knew that at the end would turn out good even though most of the day turned out bad. This is just like first day jitters because both of them Day they were bad in the beginning. I think you should read elephants cannot dance you will like Elephants cannot dance because it is a bout the good friendship. So get into your car and drive away to get the Book elephants cannot dance.

I think this book is amazing and how it is most likely to be the best book ever.
