Kids Books - Literature

This book was great. It's about a mermaid princess, which can sound very childish. But it contains some romance and is more of a teen's book. The story is a little sophisticated to explain in a short review, but if you are age 13-14 (I'm 11 but considered precocious), read it. You'll enjoy it, I promise.

This book is a great book. I started reading the series in third grade. It tell about Greek mythology. Pandora opens the box of seven evils and is sent to capture each one. In this book, she goes to find the evil, " jealous"

I love the series!

This is the second book of the ghostgirl seiries, I would recomend this to an older girl, it has a few words that young girls should not read.

This a is book about how the adventure started, this was not in the tv series. So it's like exclousive. If you like legos and ninjas mixed together!

In the second book of the Prince Warriors brothers Xavier and Evan and along with the other Prince Warriors are anxiously waiting to go back to Ahoratos and receive their next part of armor from Ruwach. But they will have to learn that swords may not be what they need while facing their deadly enemy. This series is built on Ephesians 6:10-18, and incorporates many Christian values and traits and "secrets". If you go to the series's website, these messages are explained. The Prince Warriors series was not what I expected, but not in a bad way. When I first read the description I was thinking it was a young adult book. So I was surprised when I realized the book was comprised of younger main characters, guided towards younger readers. I think that a lot of kids will like this book, since there are not many good Christian adventures stories out there meant for elementary school kids. I would definitely recommend making sure to read the first book before reading this one, otherwise there a lot of details and sub-plots lost along the way. I loved all the different relationships in the book that we get to see, those of siblings, parents, grandparents, friends, crushes, frenemies, etc. There are a lot of realistic qualities incorporated to a fantasy-like story. I recommend this book to elementary kids. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

! Such a wonderful plot and very clever. this is any thing but predictable. Also just such a brilliant idea and the characters are incredibly varied. Well written.

This book is a real doozy! In the story Lucy gets a light up lollipop strawberry-smelling pen. FANTASTIC! Heidi is a little jealous, though. One day, Heidi's Aunt Trudy got her a lollipop pen! Heidi was delighted until, SHE FOUND OUT THE PEN DIDN'T LIGHT UP OR HAVE A STRAWBERRY SCENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heidi and Lucy, 5 days later, are invited to go to Bruce's house to see his new invention. The next day, though, Lucy discovers her pen is.... GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lucy knows how much Heidi wanted her pen. She thinks Heidi is the thief! How can Heidi prove she's not the thief? Read the book to find out!
