Skeleton Creek (book 1)

By Patrick Carman

If you want a scary, cliff hanging book, you should read Skeleton Creek by Patrick Carman. The best part about the book is you can actually go to the fictional character's website and watch the ghosts that she got on film.

I Survived The Great Molasses Flood, 1919 (I Survived #19)

By Lauren Tarshis

This book is about a young girl named Carmen. There was a molasses/syrup company and they need space for all the molasses, and build a giant tank for it. One day the people that live by the tank start hear noises. So they report it to the company many times, but they ignore it. Soon the tank explodes sending 24 foot waves of molasses every where destroying every think in it's path. Carmen gets sucked under a giant wave and finally feels safe, but another wave comes. This is a great book because i teaches you about The Great Molasses Flood of 1919, but also is an exciting book.

Alby feels even worse about himself, and his parents keep expecting him to do things he can't. The only person who can understand him is his nanny Calista. But when his friend, who is an identical triplet who's family has two pairs of triplets gets on a reality show, Alby is faced with yet another problem: Losing his friend. At school, things are worse. He has to face a mean bully named Darren and stand up for his friend, Betsy who has a stutter. He has to go to 'math club' to get better at math, but finds that it isn't so bad. Alby goes through many issues and problems but in the end realizes that only one thing matters: Being kind. Written by Lisa Graff, the author of A Tangle Of Knots, Absolutely Almost is the perfect book for any realistic fiction fans out there.

The Story of Annie Sullivan: Helen Keller's Teacher (Dell Yearling Biographies)

The Story of Annie Sullivan: Helen Keller's Teacher (Dell Yearling Biographies)

By Bernice Selden

I decided to read it because it was going to be the book that would help with my biography report. It had great information if you ever needed to read or know about Annie Sullivan and her student Hellen Keller. It tells that Annie also grew up blind but eventually her sight got better and was sent to a foster home after the age of ten or eleven.
