Davia A. Peters, just one girl of 11 years old whose fear is great; possibly losing the loved ones. Davia's mother, Katherine got really sick with a cancer, same with her great-aunt Mari. Davia was just learning of how to overcome her major fear, until out of the nowhere, she had met one ghost, a French girl, Emilie LeBlanc who died in 1853. Davia, as in she thought it was impossible to see Emilie when Emilie was over 230 years old. This book has suspense, mystery, but also very sad book. I would recommend this to people who love suspense and mystery! - Happy Reading!

I do not recommend reading this book in public if you want to be thought of as sane: you will laugh with EVERY page, and as soon as you stop laughing you'll just start rolling on the floor again, until you're terrified and shocked and crying-- yet somehow still laughing uncontrollably. When sixteen-year-old Clary Fray (or is that even her real name...?) is thrusted into a whole new world where 'all the stories are true'--demons, werewolves, vampires, faeries-- she realizes that her mundane life to this point has been full of lies. She is a Shadowhunter, though she was not raised that way, and soon learns how to act like one while still preserving some of her own childhood innocence. She meets people with unforgettable personalities (You can't not love Luke, Magnus, Jace...)...and if you just turn the pages and read on, so will you. To me, this was a young adult version of the Harry Potter series--not that you can't read Harry Potter as a young adult :-) --with just the things a book needs: unpredictable plot twists, and much longing to be in this fictional world alongside these lovable characters.

When Alison found an old photograph of three girls, her mother, her aunt and someone marked as T who is torn out of the photo she gets mildly suspicious. Fast ford a few days and she meets Sissy a angry young girl who doesn't particularly love the water but loves sugar on her cereal; They become friends and Alison finally starts to learn the truth about a family secret that's been tearing apart her mother and aunt for decades. Maybe it was better she didn't know...

With a great plot and creepy supernatural stories, this fantasy/horror story was delightfully engaging. The characters include the following: Emrys, who has just moved to the notoriously haunted city of New Rotterdam; Hazel, Emrys's longtime friend, and unexplained phenomenon enthusiast; Serena, Hazel's friend. In the book's beginning, Emry and Hazel return to their apartment in the middle of a thunderstorm. Soon, a mysterious whistler is heard: Emrys, Serena, and Hazel decide to snoop around their mysterious neighbor's mysterious apartment (where they hear the Whistler going in). What they find astonishes them: destruction, and in the midst of it, a talking book containing the consciousness of the apartment's former owner, Mr. Van Stavern. He tells them that they are to be members of a secret order. Their mission is clear–protect New Rotterdam and the world from paranormal forces by containing powerful cursed relics. But a dilemma is caused when Serena, the skeptic, decides to forget about it. Their first task begins as a red hourglass starts appearing all over New Rotterdam, and people start disappearing. With only 2 members, will the team be able to survive the deadly relic and the organization that is putting them in public spaces? First of all, the book had very relatable themes such as climate change and friendship. The characters, such as Emrys, were all fleshed out and relatable too. The Wiki entries after every chapter were interesting and in my opinion, made the book a lot better. But I felt that one of the big flaws of the book was that the Wandering Hour, which is what the book is focused on (it's in the title even), could have been a lot scarier and stranger, like the other Wiki entries in the book. Finally, the dialogue feels natural and there are even some funny parts, which lighten up the grim tale of disappearing juveniles. About the scariness level, it's pretty mild, but there is talk of humans disappearing and dying, so I would recommend this book to middle grades and above. Also, if you like unexplained things such as cryptids, this would be an interesting book (the book goes by pretty quickly, so it's good for light reading).

the title a bit misleading it's not that scary but is extremely sad and made me dislike Beatrix Potter kinda. the books about two young fox kits, Mias who's siblings die of rabies and Uly whose father tries killing him on multiple occasions. Uly has a limp from a congenital anomaly or a birth defect on him from paw. as Uly and Mia get older they get a den together and start telling their story to young fox kits that dare visiting their den

I loved this book because it is so fun to see what kind of messes hey get into and how they try to solve it. This is by far my favorite book series it is so fun and I love adventures and this is perfect for me. I would recommend this to ages 7- any other age this book is so good just like the rest it is suspense but it is not to scary but it is not like a baby book I really like it and I love to see the endings of the books. I love how the series starts and how the series end they are very good. I love how it is also in a jungle because I love wild life so this book was very interesting to me. I also love how it includes school as well as adventures.I knew by the first book I would love this series and I did so I hope you enjoy it too.

This book is sooooo creepy! It's a great book for a sleepover party. It has such descriptive language that it would easily give you nightmares! It also has ideas to make up fun and creepy games! There are lots of different stories of murder's, animals, and VERY creepy people! ;)

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING. It gives you chills and nightmares. If your looking for a great zombie book i would turn to this one. I do not recomend this for kids under 12. Such a page turner. Your eyes are glued to this book.
