i had to choose a historickle fiction book and i chose this its a great book it mixes facts and a story together its about a slave girl who ran away from the plantation with her mom and brother

I thought this book was pretty good overall. It had a lot of good analogies and figurative language, and told a good story. It had a good ending as well.

This book is about Ida Mae Jones and her passion for flying. Her brother Able finds a program for her called the WASP. And where I'm at right now she's there, jumping from airplanes. The WASP's is training her for being an army pilot. The question is will she stay? She's trying to hide her identity because she's colored and that's a whites only program. She's having fun, but she's worried
