Of Sorcery and Snow (The Ever Afters)

Of Sorcery and Snow (The Ever Afters)

By Shelby Bach

I just finished this book and I loved it! I know that the author is totally going to make a 4th book and I can't wait to read it! I couldn't wait till Rory explained to her parents, and that was scary and nerve wracking, just waiting for Rory's parents to say what they thought! This book was so awesome, but to understand it you need to read the first book, Of Giants and Ice, first. You'll love the whole series, trust me.

Of Witches and Wind (The Ever Afters)

Of Witches and Wind (The Ever Afters)

This book was awesome. It was the perfect mash-up of fairy-tales and modern day. Similar to: The Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley, The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer, and Half Upon a Time by John Riley. The perfect mix of comedy and action, this book is a must read.

Chronicles of Ancient Darkness #2: Spirit Walker

By Michelle Paver

Spirit walker is book 2 of an incredible series written by Michelle paver. It really captures what it was like 6000 years ago in the mesolithic period. In this book Toraks clan suddenly fell ill 🤒 and Torak was sent to find a cure but he is on his own without his pack brother so it took longer than he thought. On his way he comes across mighty waters and different creatures. Will he ever find wolf?

After finishing this book and thus finishing half of the series, I would say that it just pulls me in and I find myself unable to put these books down. I really think that this could be a book series under the category of Young Adult because it instills everything a reader from middle school to high school wants to find in a series of books. Outstanding.

A Cheese-Colored Camper (Geronimo Stilton (Numbered Hardcover))

A Cheese-Colored Camper (Geronimo Stilton (Numbered Hardcover))

This book is about Geronimo's grandfather William persuading him to join Thee, Benjamin, Trap, his cook, and himself on a trip to cold and dark Ratzikistan. Grandfather William expects Geronimo to write a guidebook. Geronimo doesn't want to go, but of curse, his relatives talk him into it. The illustrations are colorful and the typeset often changes in fun ways. The theme of the story is about accepting your family and traveling together. As someone who doesn't really like to travel, I can identify with Geronimo. This book is recommended for kids in grades one to three, however, there are a few difficult words, such as "obnoxious."
