The Girl Who Could Not Dream
By Sarah Beth Durst
"Dreams can't die... but they can be lost... And then found again..." This heartwarming tale gives the reader an acknowledgement of celestial and magical creature found in DREAMS. (**IT MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS**) It starts off with Sophie (Betty), a non-dreamer, and a soon to be hero, soon befriends Ethan (the new kid who is "swarmed" with many friends due to his ability of playing sports) after realizing that he has nightmare, Sophie reachers out and gave him a dreamcatcher that can assuage his nightmares... BUT a horrible occurrence happened!!!!!! A gray-giraffe tried to kidnap Ethan, however Sophie and Monster saved him... Sadly they could not retrieve Lucy and Madison, who also have horrid nightmares, where Mr. Nightmare kidnapped them... Before I go any further I wanted to say Monster is a protector/pet who belongs to Sophie after she made Monster from her dream (MONSTER CAN TALK)... And yes, Sophie can have her dreams be real in actual life... Anyways Mr. Nightmare, aka Eugene, is a buyer from Sophie's parent's dream store... So now with Ethan and Monster's help, Sophie is now in a quest to look for her parents (where there number one suspect is Mr. Nightmare), but as they approached to his house... Mr. Nightmare seemed like a complete, ordinary human being. But... WRONG... he in fact stole all the monster dreams and kidnapped Sophie's parents, Lucy, and Madison... With all this imagination, Sophie soon becomes surrounded with a pegasus who poops rainbows (and loves apples) and with tons of ninja bunnies to help save the people who Sophie loves... Not to mention where they meet hideous looking monsters, where they meet Christina... Now secrets unravel like a spider's web... And now to save the people she loves may cost a sacrifice... DUN DUN DUNNNNNN... So what I loved about this book was the cliffhangers of course... Also when Ethan first meets Sophie... is just so... AHHH.... I cannot describe in words... Just YOU have to read this... Also the dry humor and irony really got to me... It's just hilarious... "Her first thought was, I'm not Betty..."... And MONSTER... he's adorable... Like I wished I had a friendly monster named Monster... Everything about this book is so creative and imaginative! To be honest... I thought it would be this cliche book... Where the hero saves the day... and it's kind of like that.... But just all the twists and turns reminds me of a roller coaster with it's unexpectedness...*cough Ms. Lee* *cough-cough* So if you can take a toll with nightmares because everything you might've dreamed of will be in this book... then this book is perfect for you! I realized this book is so similar with the movie Big Hero 6... Like seriously I can name the comparisons but I would be giving out too many spoilers... So if you like sweet, sentimental, but an adventurous story... This book is for you... Read it:D!!!!
Rise of the Dragons
By Angie Sage
This book was kind of mediocre. The main protagonist Sirin is so bad.Remove her from the plot and there would be no tremendous effect to the plot whatsoever. On the other hand Joss and Allie were the best characters in this book. They actually had somewhat of a personality that made you care for them. Lysander was also pretty good. The battle near the end of the book was the best part of the book.It was full of action and suspense that put me on the edge of my seat.Overall this book was okay and it wasn't absolutely horrendous.I would give this book 3 1/2 stars.
The Ranger's Apprentice Series (Complete 12 Book Set)
By John Flanagan
Mia
I just loved this book! I'm a 4th grader and have always loved fantasy. When at my school I asked the librarian for a suggestion she showed my this book series and I instantly fell in love with it! I've always been an advanced reader so it's harder and harder to find books that fit me. But this one is just perfect! I recommend this book for 12+ if your an average reader and 10+ for advanced readers. I suggest this book series for people who are fine with cussing.because this book series has quite a bit. Also for people who like kind of war/fantasy/adventure type of books. And I like those type of books so this book series was perfect! If you liked this book series you might want to check out the book series (Eragon) Its probably for 13+ average reader only because it has some hard words not because of the book. its about a normal boy who finds a dragon egg and there's lots of adventure and magic in that in that book series. And the ranger apprentice serires it good for 10-18. all in all this is the best book I have read so far!
The Hidden Witch
By Molly Knox Ostertag
I enjoy this book so much! The story and the illustration really made me not want to put the book down! It was full of friendship, family, old tale, mystery and magic. This story was also about figuring out how to deal with bullying, self-identity, and embracing difference. I feel that the author and illustrator put a lot of thought, imagination, and a learning lesson. I don't want to spoil the story by giving to much detail. I would recommend this book to a fan reader of comic graph novel.
Bluefish
By Pat Schmatz
The book ''Blue Fish'' is an amazing story that people can relate to in so many different ways. To be honest with you once I started to read this book, I just could not stop. The author Pat Schmatz is a talented writer and now I really want to read every single book he wrote. In this book review, I will be telling you all the positives and negatives I have with the book. Honestly I have so much of positives I can't count them all.But one of them that I loved so much is about the main character Travis and his dog Rosco. When I was little I had a dog and I was so close to her and the day we gave him away to a friend, my heart broke. Just like Travis's when he found out Rosco got killed. I love that connection that Travis had with his dog. To prove this statement it says on page155 it says''He missed the smell, the dog hair all over his clothes, and Rosco's deep row-wow bark.'' A next example of a positive is about Travis's friend Velveeta. The reason why Ilike this story is becuase Velveeta is having a hard life but could still make the better of it . In support of this statement it says on page 88 '' The madre made real food again, and this time the butt showed... and they drank thier dinner while I ate mine.'' Velveeta has a mom who drinks too much and a brother who drinks and sells drugs. Tough life right? To be honest with you I have no negative reviews what so ever. The book '' Bluefish'' is a great book and I trult recomend this book to anyone who would like to read a book about a boy trying to learn how to read and deal with personal problems with his grandfather and a girl trying to find closure about a recent death. I would love to read it if I were you!
The Entirely True Story of the Unbelievable FIB
By Adam Shaughnessy
Eleven-year old Pru is still dealing with the death of her father, a former Police agent, when she finds a mysterious card in her room, asking “Who is the unbelievable FIB?” She can’t resist a good mystery, so she teams up with the new kid at school, ABE, to figure out what’s going on. Then, a mysterious man named Mr. Fox asks for their help investigating the mythical being invading their town. That’s just the beginning, and soon they discover another world beneath their town, and realize they must find the eye of Odin before anybody else if they want to stop a war that could destroy both the worlds. I thought this was a good book! It has elements of mystery, and it fun to try and stay ahead of the plot. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy books like Rick Riordan’s, as it is about Norse mythology.
The Traitor: A Divergent Story
By Veronica Roth
I think this book was very well written. It all flowed together and it filled in the blanks exceptionally well.
Free Four: Tobias Tells the Divergent Knife-Throwing Scene (Divergent Series-Collector's Edition)
By Veronica Roth
I am reading the Divergent Series currently and want to learn more about Four/Tobias. Veronica Roth is a great author so I trust that this book will be great.
Divergent Thinking: YA Authors on Veronica Roth's Divergent Trilogy

Such an amazing book! I've read so many books and Enjoy these so much. There probably one of my favorite books! I would suggest them. They are shorter but they do have more than one book in the series. If you are younger and get scared easily I would not tell you to read these books. There not scary to me just a great book ;)
The Kill Order: Book Four; Origin (The Maze Runner Series)
By James Dashner
Some people say that this book isn't as good as the others in the series, and I disagree with that. This book has many surprise twists and is a very cool look at during and right after the sun flares as opposed to 10+ years in the future. You also get the backstory of a character in Maze Runner, and how the virus (the flare) spread. I would recommend this book to anyone who liked the Maze Runner trilogy. 5/5!
