The Winter Horses

The Winter Horses

By Philip Kerr

Kalinka has nowhere to run. Orphaned. Friendless. Cold. Hunted. Alone by herself, lost in the boundless expanse of the snowy Ukrainian Steppe. More dangerous still than the frosty, bitter, and hostile world around her is the yellow star of David embroidered on the coat. when out on the plains she finds horses unlike those she has ever seen before- as though from another time- feral, wily, and clever, the Przewalski's horses have endured the unfriendliness their wild world has thrown at them since the time of the ancient cave paintings- but the unspeakable horrors of WWII are unlike any they have ever faced. As they come to trust Kalinka, the rare horses and their girl are forced to flee from their home- with Nazis in pursuit, intent on their extermination.

The Puppy Place #35: Cooper

The Puppy Place #35: Cooper

By Ellen Miles

I think Cooper is the best dog in the world. I think that because he behaves so well. He is also so sweet because he is so nice with Charles and Lizzie.

The Puppy Place #33: Gizmo

The Puppy Place #33: Gizmo

By Ellen Miles

Gizmo is a really cool pup and has pretty fur. I loved that he could do amazing tricks. I was happy that someone took him in and took care of him. In the end, he had his own family. I am glad that I have my own dogs like him.

The Puppy Place: Bandit

The Dirt Diary

The Dirt Diary

By Anna Staniszewski

Lol, I don't think anyone remembers me anymore. Well, I'm hereee XD. And without further ado... here is the book review. We can all relate to Rachel Lee. She's an underconfident, self-conscious girl- just like all 8th graders. Well, maybe except for the fact that she's a "house-worker" to the most popular kids in the school- the kids that bully her. So, what does Rachel Lee do, exactly? First off, she most OBVIOUSLY wants to sneak a peek at her enemy's room and secrets. I mean, who doesn't? But then, Rachel's intentions go bad, after the most popular girl's boyfriend.. weeell, decided to "bribe" Rachel into spying on his girlfriend. Messed up? Well, the only reason Rachel got into this mess was a plane ticket. YES, a plane ticket. The plane ticket held hope for Rachel; hope that her parents would someday get back together... and all her problems would go away. Instead, she got herself into a big, big mess. And now, I command you to read this book. Ta-ta! :D

Princess in Training: Princess Diaries, Volume VI

Princess in Training: Princess Diaries, Volume VI

By Meg Cabot

Princess Amelia Thermopolis Renaldi's life is officially over. Her best friend Lilly has volunteered her as a school president candidate - against LANA WEINBERGER! How is Mia supposed to complete against that fresh, blond, lipsticked cheerleader in cahoots with the entire student body? And in the midst of it all, Mia has put her country of Genovia in danger of being suspended from the EU because she imported foreign snails to eat the French killer algae. How was she supposed to know it would cause such an uproar? Trying to juggle speech-making, Grandmere and Lilly's scary concentration on her presidency campaign, Lana's snide remarks, trouble with her one true love Michael, and in turn drama with Lilly, it might be all it takes for Princess Mia to get to the campaign podium in one piece. Fresh, fun, and in beat with an average teenager life - well, if all teenagers were princesses of French-speaking principalities - Princess in Training is one of my favorite books in this bestselling series!

Pinkalicious: The Princess of Pink Slumber Party (I Can Read Level 1)

By Victoria Kann

I recently read Pinkalicious and the Princess of Pink Slumber Party and its by Victoria Kann. Pinkalicious hosted a slumber party but not any old slumber party a princess of pink slumber party! On no Alison got scared, they got a dragon to help! I really liked it because it was funny for example when molly burped thought it was a dragon’s breath. You would like this book if you want to learn how to throw a slumber party.

The Notations of Cooper Cameron

The Notations of Cooper Cameron

By Jane O'Reilly

This is a decent book about Cooper Cameron and his love and affection towards his family. Cooper loved his grandpa the most, and he dies on a fishing trip, which broke Cooper's heart into a million pieces. Cooper now knows that anything like that can happen to his family, so he starts behaving unusually believing that will protect his family. But this unusual behavior causes a rift between the family, and Cooper does not want that, and he vows to get rid of his unusual behavior. Will this be possible first to will Cooper's family break into pieces because of his behavior? The author uses lovely comparisons to further emphasize family, and the book will turn out to be an amazing book for readers all ages.
