Greek Myths by Diane Namm. The stories emotions can range from cheerful, melancholy, enraged, etc. The book has 15 chapters and 160 pages. The genre is traditional literature because they are stories past down from Greeks. One of the characters is King Midas, he was a guy that wished everything he touched turned to gold. That had a sad and happy ending. Another character is Demeter, she is the Goddess of harvest. Her daughter had to live with Hades for three months. That is why we have winter. So you can thank Persephone for that.

I think this is the second book in this series, but I'm reading these out of order, and it doesn't really matter. The Hardy Boys are investagating a house that is, of course, on a cliff. They have left because os an anynomous scream however. And now they have to figure out what's wrong with the house, all while they help their dad with a smuggling case. ARe these two things tied together, or is it just a mistake? .

Gone-Away Lake (Gone-Away Lake Books)

By Elizabeth Enright

nac

When two kids explore the woods around their summer house they discover a land lost to time. A small village, two old inhabitants, and a gone away lake that is all a testimony of times lost, but as they keep going back their secret becomes harder to keep, and they wonder if they will be able to keep the village untouched by time.... It was an interesting story, and I liked how things were untouched by time. It was pretty cool.

The Twits

The Twits

By Roald Dahl

This story is about two people called Mr. and Mrs.Twit. They are the most horrible people in the world. They play tricks on each other like putting worms in the spaghetti. They keep monkeys in the back yard and they make them stand upside down for hours . It is time for the monkeys to get their revenge. Will the monkeys get their revenge? My favorite part of the story is when Mrs.Twit went flying with many balloons because it is very funny. What I like most about the book were the characters because they are very funny. If you like funny books, this book is right for you as you are going to enjoy it .This book is for children between 8-11.

The Long Winter

The Long Winter

Girls should read this book. It is totally good. But i felt bad for the families that were starved. That part i cried. it was so sad. Sometimes can be fun but sometimes it can harm people.
