Sankichi Hinodeya has really warmed up the toast in the toaster of this series! I love the courage, sweet silliness, goofy elements, and amazingly realistic art! I have to admit, though, the characters are a bit ditzy. Lots of them are doofuses, I might add! But that is what I love about them! Through Octarian menaces and the Salmonid onslaught, mean teams and immensely skilled teams, All of the Inklings are willing to do their part! At the end, it introduces a mysterious new character. He's not an Inkling. What is he then...? I hope he comes out with a 13th manga to add some fresh spice straight from the presses! But lets cut to the chase! The final battle of the Square King Cup has definitely heated up like a bagel in a toaster, and Team Blue VS Team Emperor! Taking each other one on one, this Turf War has really gotten good! Full of suspense and determination, Goggles keeps up his pace. But when Team Emperor loses, things really get exciting!!! Emperor has taken on a different interest than beating the stuffing out of his opponents, some of which include the S4, Team Gloves, and Team Yellow-Green. When Goggles, Gloves, Mask, and Emperor finish a Salmon Run, Goggles gets swept away! And...An Octoling enters the story!

If you love the Splatoon series you should read this book. The book has great battles against team Emperor then googles get transported into Salmon Run and its so cool. :D I recommend this book if you've read 2 to 3.
