From New York Times bestselling authors Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, and Emily Jenkins comes a new, offbeat series about a group of misfits who set out to prove that life on the other side of ordinary has its charms.

It’s never easy when your magic goes wonky.

For Nory, this means that instead of being able to turn into a dragon or a kitten, she turns into both of them at the same time—a dritten.

For Elliott, the simple act of conjuring fire from his fingertips turns into a fully frozen failure.

For Andres, wonky magic means he’s always floating in the air, bouncing off the walls, or sitting on the ceiling.

For Bax, a bad moment of magic will turn him into a . . . actually, he’d rather not talk about that.

Nory, Elliott, Andres, and Bax are just four of the students in Dunwiddle Magic School’s Upside-Down Magic class. In their classroom, lessons are unconventional, students are unpredictable, and magic has a tendency to turn wonky at the worst possible moments. Because it’s always amazing, the trouble a little wonky magic can cause . . .

I have read all the books except Night Owl. I LOVE THIS SERIES!!

This is such a good book, so Nory loves doing magic and she is very proud of her magic till she gets to Sage academy, which is a magic school. Nory must pass a test so she can be placed in her correct school. She has to turn into a cat, but there's one problem she can't hold her cat formation without turning into some other wonky animal. Because of this she is placed in the UDM. She meets three other kids just like her who can't do there magic the "sage" way. Together the practice secretly and try to get better and embrace their differences.

it's good and also you really should read it because it is fun and I like it so yeah you can get it on Sora

The big test is tomorrow, and Nory still can't manage to turn into a black cat without something wonky happening afterward. Nory has to get in Sage Academy, the school her siblings go to, and the school her dad is headmaster of. This book is interesting, and I recommend it to people who enjoy books written by Liesl Shurtliff. Overall, I enjoyed this book and recommend it to people in elementary and middle school. I rate this 5/5.

I might be a little bit too young for this book... but it’s still good! :P This is about a girl named Nora, who has a talent of a Fluxer, a person who can turn into animals by command, but a wonky one. (There are 5 types of magic people can become: A Flyer, a Fluxer, a Fuzzy, a Flare, and a Flicker.) No matter what, she always seems to turn into a mixture of animals. She is trying to get into Sage Academy, who’s headmaster is her father, but fails. So, her father sends her to live with her aunt, and to go to Dunwiddle’s Upside Down Magic class. There, she learns it’s ok to be different, and it doesn’t stop you from making friends, even if it’s hard. This is a cool book, and I recommend it to kids ages 8-10. (But really, you can read this at any age you want) ;)

I liked this book. Nori has magic. All the kids do, when they manifest. Exect, instead of being able to turn into a cat, she turns into an cat dragon. Now her dad sends her to a school for wonky magic. There she makes friends with kids who ar like her. I give this book 4 stars.
