For a full hour, he poured lemonade. The world is a thirsty place, he thought as he nearly emptied his fourth pitcher of the day. And I am the Lemonade King.

Fourth-grader Evan Treski is people-smart. He’s good at talking with people, even grownups. His younger sister, Jessie, on the other hand, is math-smart, but not especially good with people. So when the siblings’ lemonade stand war begins, there really is no telling who will win—or even if their fight will ever end. Brimming with savvy marketing tips for making money at any business, definitions of business terms, charts, diagrams, and even math problems, this fresh, funny, emotionally charged novel subtly explores how arguments can escalate beyond anyone’s intent.

A great book about siblings who fight and have a war about who can earn the most money selling lemonade. Who will win? You have to read to find out!

I liked this book so much! I recommend this book to anyone who loves to laugh, read, and has a sibling of their own. I love the characters the ending! It's also going to make you want to read the next book The Lemonade Crime!

This is the first book in the series. It is about Evan and his sister, Jessie. Evan is mad that his sster is in the same grade and class as him. She skipped a grade. Jessie is smarter than Evan. To prove this they decide to start a Lemonade War. Whoever sells the most lemonade by just using lemonade stand will win all the money. Read to find out who wins. This is a great book for fourth graders!!

I really loved this book!! it kinda reflects on real life, a brother and sister rival. :) I read this book so many times that i recommend it to all readers!

"The Lemonade War" by Jacqueline Davies is about a boy, Evan, and his little sister, Jessie. They start their own lemonade stands and whoever profits the most wins the challenge. During this 'war', Evan and Jessie are enemies, but deep inside, they want to be friends again like normal. They realize that the whole Lemonade War is pointless and just wrecks their relationship. I wouldn't recommend this book to readers who enjoy novels with complex plots. "The Lemonade War" is a book with a simple plot that readers ages 8-11 would most likely enjoy reading.

I really liked the series so i decided to read this. It wasnt a bad book. i would recommend this book to 4th graders and up. The whole plot of this book was that Evan and his younger sister who should be in third grader is in 4th grade. Evan doesnt like that because it seems like his sister, whos younger than him, is smarter. They decide to have a "Lemonade War" to see who could raise the most money by selling lemonade. Whoever wins keeps all of the money, including the loser's money. Read to find out who wins!

This book was really good. It is about a fourth grade boy named Evan, and his sister, a supposed-to-be third grader (that skipped a grade and is now in Evan's class), named Jessie. Evan is angry because his sister is smarter than him, and they decide to start a "lemonade war" between themselves. They decide that whoever earns the most money by Sunday using ONLY lemonade stands as a source of income wins, and takes all the money. But who will win?

THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING!!! ILI (I LOVED IT)

Lemonade. That's people-smart Evan and math braniac Jessie's specialty. It's also what helped them start a war. Jessie, Evan's sister ( who should be going to 3rd grade), is joining him in 4th grade. Imagine the humiliation of being out-smarted by your younger sister! That's terrible news for Evan, considering he's trying to hit the spotlight this year. And then it started. The war. The lemonade war. Jessie doesn't understand why Evan is so mad, but then again, understanding people is her weakest subject. When these siblings take a bet on who can reach $100 first, but from selling lemonade. Things take a turn for the wrong when things suddenly get serious. Very serious. In fact, so serious that now not only is Evan mad at Jessie, but she's also mad at him. She loves Evan, and doesn't want to stay mad at him, but to win this war, that's her only choice. Will these siblings stay at war for the rest of their mind-boggling lives, or will they unite? If not, who will win? Find out in these amazing Jacqueline Davies book!

Evan is good and nice in front of people. He is sweet when he talks to people, but is not good at math. His little sister Jessie, is smart at math, but not good understanding people. She thinks that is her weakest subject. They begin a lemonade war and will see who can earn $100 first.Winner gets to take the other persons money. They will see the winner at Sunday night.Read more osam series by Jacqueline Davies!!!
