I read this book in Grade 4 and when I saw it, it looked really old so it probably will be bad i thought. But when I read it i couldn't stop reading it. At the time I was really interested in mystery books and this book has many mysteries and twists. I think this is an awesome book for you mystery fans.

This was a really good book. I like it because it is about a boy who is like me. He is brave and stands up for friends. I also like it because he was wrongly chosen and it was exciting to know who was going to end up good and who was going to end up bad. I also like it because he goes to prison camp. I really like this book.

Holes is a 1998 young adult novel written by Louis Sachar. The book is mainly about an unlucky teenage boy named Stanley Yelnats, who is sent to Camp Green Lake - a juvenile corrections facility in a desert in Texas - after being falsely accused of theft. The plot explores the history of the area and how the actions of several characters in the past have affected Stanley's life in the present. These interconnecting stories touch on themes such as racism, homelessness, & illiteracy. Much of the praise for the book has centered around its complex plot, interesting characters, and representation of people of color and youth. I won't lie, but this book was really entertaining to read because all the characters shined their own personality which I think made the book great. I hope that all of you would consider reading this book because it was amazing! so who ever wins go luck and hope you read it alot
