Trespassers will be turned to stone

For centuries, mystical creatures of all description were gathered to a hidden refuge called Fablehaven to prevent their extinction. The sanctuary is one of the last strongholds of true magic. Enchanting? Absolutely. Exciting? You bet. Safe? Well, actually, quite the opposite . . .

Kendra and her brother, Seth, have no idea their grandfather is the current caretaker of Fablehaven. Inside the gated woods, ancient laws keep order among greedy trolls, mischievous satyrs, plotting witches, spiteful imps, and jealous fairies. However, when the rules get broken, powerful forces of evil are unleashed, forcing Kendra and Seth to face the greatest challenge of their lives, to save their family, Fablehaven, and perhaps even the world.

I love this book so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really Loved this book I thought it was really good. My sister had been telling g me to read it for years and I finally did and its great.

I Have had so many people telling me to read this book, that its so good. But not going to lie I have never really loved reading. But this book, on my goodness. ITS SO GOOD. Seriously its amazing. It was creepy but not so creepy that I couldn't continue. I couldn't put the book down its so good!

My friend told me about this book and it sounded really good, so I read it. It was one of the best books I've ever read. It was REALLY good. The characters were very well done, I was funny, descriptive, sad, everything I like in books. I definitely recommend this book for kids 12 and up. It might freak younger kids out.

I read this book for school and then again this summer because I just find it so exciting. This book sets the stage for the many others that come in the series. Fablehaven is a secret nature preserve protecting beings of myth and legend from the outside world. What happens when two normal kids learn that their grandparents are the caretakers of this magical world?

I really like this book because it was a little bit creepy and full of mystery. Seth and Kendra are very likeable and their Grandpa's house sounds very interesting to live in. And, if I was in Kendra's shoes I would discover something new every day.

Kendra and Seth (brother and sister) where worried about visiting their grandparents while their parents go on a cruise. They get to their grandparent's house and had a small tour. They had to sleep in an attic and Seth broke the most important rule (he went into the forest and took Kendra with him). For their punishment they where forced to stay in the attic for a week and could only come out for their breakfast, lunch and dinner. Kendra finished the game that their grandpa left for them and found out that she had to drink some of the fresh milk. She had Seth try it first and then she had a sip and found out that Fablehaven is a magical preserve... This is an amazing book.

They were actually banished to the attic for one day.

I read one of the Fablehaven books and it was very good! I also like just the books by Brandon Mull in general, so i cant wait to get around to reading this book !

This book is about Kendra and Seth, who are sent to their grandparents' house when their parents are on a trip. They discover that it is a magical place and, with the help of some magical family members, they find secrets and creatures they never knew. With several twists and turns, adding a side helping of slapstick humor, this book will keep you in a magical daze for months! Only one tip to warn readers:if you get tired of endless droning on about the same thing and no explanation, this might not be the right book for you!

Great series! Everything I've read by this author is amazing. Ironically, his first series (Fablehaven), was the last one I discovered; however, it was one of the best.
