When Dav Pilkey began drawing pictures of an underwear-clad, wedgie-giving superhero as a second grader, his teacher said, "You'd better start taking life more seriously, because you can't spend the rest of your days making silly books!" Luckily for us, Dav didn't listen, and Captain Underpants was born. Now, kids everywhere can enjoy this special edition of the book that started it all--with an awesome lenticular cover and a super-cool value-added component that's so amazing, so fun, and so top-secret that you'll just have to buy it to find out!

This book was horrible. I never liked the series, cringed every time there was misspelled words, and did not like the plot. Supposedly, this book is about a mean principal who gets hypnotized into a superhero wears nothing but underpants. WHAT?!?!?! Where did this come from? Overall, I do NOT recommend this book.

This book series is so hilarious. Loved it in Elementary and still love it to this day in high school. I hope Dav writes more of these because they are so amazing.

I love this book! It is so funny! I really like the part when they sling there slingshot!

Two students have created a new superhero - Captain Underpants! he is bound to be the most amazing superhero ever, right? Well, guess again. He is so secret that even HE doesn't know who he is, and that can lead to some - interesting issues. Overall, I thought that this was a funny book with a simple plot. The downsides remain, however, that the book is childish, weak with the emotions, and little bit less interesting plot wise.

Once upon a time there were two boys named george and harold, for them every day was the same until... One day they got sent to the princibles office. At the princibles office they found a mindcontrol ring and turned the princibale into captin underpants and then he took them to the time of dinosaurs! And they had a big adventure!

These books are TERRIBLE! From misspelled words, messy handwriting, and messy pictures, it looks like a 1ST GRADER made this book. A waste of time and effort to read. Thumbs down. :(

A first grader DID write the comics in this book.

This book is very funny because there is a principal that turns into captain underpants and fights against evil things like robbers and he saves the world from Dr. Diaper who wants to blow up the moon.

Captian Underpants, according to me, is one of the best series ever. It is ridiculous to see this baby superhero fly around in his underpants. XD LOL

This book is hilarious, and also kinda science fiction. I've read the whole series, and I recommend it to whoever likes reading about principals in underpants.

I like this book because this book has a lot of humor I I think that captain underpants is really funny and I think that Mr. Krupp is pretty mean and dumb.
